Frank de Lange
Frank de Lange (1967) founded Vondel Finance in 2004. At Vondel Finance he is active as M&A advisor and investor. Frank de Lange studied business administration at the University of Groningen and at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. As of 1993 he participated in the launch and growth of Deloitte Corporate Finance. As of 2001 Frank de Lange was senior investment manager at NPM Capital in Amsterdam, one of the largest private equity firms in the Netherlands. At NPM Capital he was responsible for circa ten participations, and actively involved as a director at a number of participations.
Throughout the years Frank de Lange was involved with more than hundred companies and transactions in a variety of roles; as advisor, investor, director, or as investment manager.

Haro Schultz van Haegen
Haro Schultz van Haegen (1967) is active as M&A advisor and investor. He has vast experience as negotiator in corporate finance.
Haro Schultz van Haegen studied law at the Rijksuniversiteit of Leiden. in 1993 he became lawyer with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, mainly active in the M&A industry. In 2001 he joined Shell, working as negotiator in large upstream projects in Russia, Kazakhstan and China. Since 2007 he is partner with Vondel Finance. Throughout these years, Haro Schultz van Haegen was involved in numerous (international) complex transactions in corporate finance.

Johan Ooms
Associate Partner
Johan Ooms studied Business Administration at the Free University of Amsterdam. In 1997 he started his career at NPM Capital, one of the leading private equity companies in The Netherlands. In different positions he was involved in numerous transactions both on the investment- as well the exit side. As an investment manager he was responsible for a number of successful exits; including Keesing Media Group (sold to TMG in 2006) and United Broadcast Facilities (sold to Allianz Capital Partners). Johan was also involved in the successful turnaround of Swets & Zeitlinger and several shareholders restructuring cases like ANP and
Since 2007 he held several positions at Telegraaf Media Group (TMG,) last as M&A director. Between 2007 and 2014 Johan was involved in numerous transactions both on the selling as well as the buying side and participated in the buy and build strategy of Keesing Media Group. In 2013 and 2014 he was also project manager for a number of reorganizations at TMG.

Mark Spetter
Mark Spetter (1977) has been involved in a significant number (100+) of M&A transactions and company valuations.

Examples of projects are Sale of VKG to ASR Nederland NV, Sale of Kuiper Transport to Remondis, Sale of Allshoes to Bunzl plc, Sale of Piet Kerkhof to Blokker Holding, Acquisition of FTK and Fruit Logistics Bleiswijk for Roveg Fruit, MBO from Alcoa.

Between 2004 and 2014 Mark Spetter has been working as a corporate finance specialist at BDO Corporate Finance. He played an important role in BDO’s Retail Advisory Team. Furthermore, he gave guest lectures about M&A business (including at the University of Groningen).

He holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen.

Maarten de Heij
Maarten de Heij (1987) holds a master’s degree in Financial Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Maarten wrote a thesis on the development of companies after a Secondary Buyout (SBO) during an internship at Vondel Finance ( After graduating he started to work for Vondel Finance as corporate finance advisor in 2014.
During his career at Vondel Finance Maarten has been involved in a broad range of deals, including the sale of BMA Ergonomics to Scandinavian Business Seating (NO), the sale of GiftForYou to Wonderbox (FR) and the sale of a majority share of TNO Companies to First Dutch Innovations (NL).

Teun Grijzenhout
Teun Grijzenhout (1994) graduated with a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Amsterdam. Within this study, he completed the Duisenberg Honours Programme, combining Corporate Finance and Banking as a double specialisation.
After successfully working on a graduation project related to the Duisenberg Programme, Teun started his career at Vondel Finance in 2017.
